Those About to Die is a gladiatorial episodic starring Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins, developed by Robert Rodat, and directed by Roland Emmerich and Marco Kreuzpaintner. The show was made using a mix of on-location shooting and a virtual production setup co-curated by Dimension and DNEG 360 at Cinecittà Studios, Italy. The setup features a 24-metre revolving stage and an 8-metre tall, 51-metre U-shaped LED volume.
Our team delivered 1,800 final pixel shots, with fewer than 40 shots requiring any post-production.
